Daily Outlooks give insight into how your body responds to many of life’s stressors, like an intense workout or a hectic day at work.

Take 60 seconds each morning to measure your HRV using Apple’s mindfulness app. Loops will tell you exactly what type of activity is best for your body that day, so no workout goes wasted.

Optimal Performance

All signs point GO when your Daily Outlook is Optimal. If you were planning on pushing yourself to your max, do it on an Optimal day. Your body is in its optimal state to take on stressful tasks and strenuous activities.

Active Recovery

Keep it moving but just take it a bit slower on an Active recovery day. On Active Recovery days your body is working hard to recover, but is still able to take on strain. The trick is to be active enough to reap the benefits of the activity, but passive enough for your body to recover!

Your body is begging for a complete Rest Day. Make sure to give your body the rest it needs. One way to make sure you rest adequately is to get enough sleep. Sleep is one of the best forms of recovery to prevent the risk of burnout and overtraining.

Accept or Pass on the recommended Goal based on your Daily Outlook. You can always change your mind throughout the day.

Select Activity

Choose from a list of activities that can help you reach your target heart rate zone. Record your activity using the Workout App on your Apple Watch or your favourite fitness app.

Set Duration

Choose from a list of preset durations for the Target Heart Rate Zone goal. We'll automatically sync it with Loops and give you a detailed breakdown of your performance.
